Dark Half-Elf
The dark elves, a reclusive people by nature, have few half-breed children but those they do have are powerful magicians in their own right. These dark-skinned peoples are capable of grand feats of magic compared to other half-elves and even many elves.
Dark half-elves prefer clothing that gives them a noble air, believing themselves better than others around them and feeling the need to show it off through their fashion. They keep themselves well-groomed and bathed, disliking feeling dirty in any way.
These folk’s first and true love is that of magic, but they excel in many areas as scholars, historians, and similar mentally-inclined professions. Additionally, as they have a tendency to learn to read and write regardless, they often work as scribes.
Dark half-elves are most common near the elven homeland, but many are also found within the Kuneirmeru where magic is plentiful and easily obtained.

Because of their acute senses, half-elves are quick to spot concealed doors and hidden entranceways. Merely passing within 10’ of a concealed door allows a half-elf a one-in-six chance (1 on 1d6) to notice it. If actively searching, a half-elf’s chances improve to a two-in-six chance (1-2 on 1d6) to find secret doors, and a three-in-six chance (1-3 on 1d6) to notice a concealed door.
Like their elvish parentage, half-dark elves often have some trouble feeling empathy for races ungifted with magic.
