Fox Folk

The Fox Folk are the most magically inclined of all the beast folk. They are graceful, cunning, and powerful. They are regarded as both tricksters and formidable opponents. They are exactly like everyone else; there are those who live up to their reputations and those who simply go about their daily lives. 

The species in the average range for all beast people in physical prowlers. They are not too strong but agil but nowhere near cat folk and bunny folk. Their best feature is that their bodies appear to be adept at using magic, and their minds are constantly preoccupied with something. It is commonly known that foxes have a natural ability to see things in somewhat various ways. It depends on the fox folk.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Fox Folk is a bipedal creature with delicate fur all over its body. Their triangle ears protruded from the top of their heads. On their head, they have two eyes diamond shape pupils,, a little nose, and a snout. Two arms and ten fingers. With two legs, two small feet, and 10 toes that they walk on. Finally, they have a long fluffy tail on the lower back. They can have anywhere from 1 to 9 tails. Deeping on how much magical power Fox Folk will be indicated by how may tails they grow in their teen to young adult life.

Language Fox Folk Starts off with speaking Common and Best Folk which is mixed sound and growl. Fox Folk with high Intelligence scores can choose any languages they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).

  • Agile (Ex): Fox Folk receives a +2 racial bonus on Acrobatics checks.
  • Change Shape (Su): A Fox Folk can assume the appearance of a specific single humanoid form of the same sex. The Fox Folk always takes this specific form when she uses this ability. A Fox Folk in humanoid form cannot use her bite attack but gains a +10 racial bonus on disguise checks made to appear humanoid. Changing shape is a standard action. This ability otherwise functions as alter self, except that the Fox Folk does not adjust her ability scores and can remain in this form indefinitely
  • Fox Folk Magic (Ex/Sp): add +1 to the DC of any saving throws against enchantment spells that they cast. Fox Folk with a Charisma score of 11 or higher gain the following spell-like ability: 3/day—dancing lights (caster level equals the Fox Folk level)
  • Low-Light Vision: Fox Folk can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
  • Gift of Darkness: +5 Damage Reisentes from magical Dark and 5 weakness damage from magical Light

Genetics and Reproduction

A male and a female member of that species are what conceive a new Kitten. 13 months after the male fertilizes the female, a Fox Folk Kitten is born. They can only have kids until around there 466 years of life.

Growth Rate & Stages

As one of the youngest life span species, Fox Folk are considered infants between the ages of zero and 5 years, during which time they were completely dependent on their parents for food and care. They gradually pick up mobility and world awareness. They usually start with lighter color fur by seven years it will change or stay what color it will be.

The next stage is kids(kittens) who learn, play, and grow between the ages of 5 and 13. Although kids are not as dependent on their parents at this point, they are still present to meet the majority of their needs. However, young kids are inquisitive and beginning to understand others and themselves. People have a saying that a young child always hears and retains. My favorite saying from my friends at the bar is “Kids are just little people who become truth drunks”.

Between the ages of 14 and 23, their bodies begin to evolve and develop into adults, which is referred to as the teenage years. Their physical body begins to gain figure, height, weight, and muscles. In most situations, this is also where natural magic develops. As their magic develops they will start to develop more tails. The more power and mana that their body develops. The more tails that grow up to nine. It is very rare to get nine tails. In most circumstances, they will also begin to establish their identity and become less reliant on their parents.

From the ages of 300 to 498, they are in their adulthood, their bodies have matured, and they have a good sense of what their natural magic will do. It will continue to develop as they age, but in most cases, it has a set of talents.

From 499 to roughly 600 years of age, they are elders; their bodies have gradually begun to slow down and become weaker. if they are not kept up with. Their magic goes up but they can’t brith any more kids. If their magic goes up high enough they have been known to grow a new tail. This is more likely to make it to nine tail but still very rare Other people regard them as wise because they have lived a lengthy life for a Fox Folk. This is the Fox Folk life cycle.

They are omnivores they eat what they like. They have made some fines dishes around the world.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Fox Folk has various sensory systems, and we will identify the five most important ones. First and foremost, they can see up to 2 miles of amazing detail. Because their eyes can only take in so much information, their eyes can pull in a great amount of light giving them the ability to see with little light. Following that is hearing from 51Hz to 48kHz. With that, Fox Folk can use their scents of smell very well. It can pick up a million different smells, but it's not as beneficial as other sentient species. Limited in their processing and range. They possessed the sense of touch to help them identify their bodies and things in the world, both good and harmful. This sense tells them what has wounded them or helps them feel at ease. Finally, Fox Folk is able to taste the five basic categories of sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami.
