Session 2.27

General Summary

At the conclusion of Zhorn’s speech in the city of Hearthendel, the group moved forward with the next stages of their business on the Amethyst Isle. Before departing the Wood Elf stronghold, the party had a few parting words for Master Everen. Upon returning to the keep, Zhorn, appointed a youth as Master of his own personal Mounts, Fannti had motioned to meet with the council members to discuss on how to move the city forward economically, and to address pressing civic issues. First of which was the generation of two establishments. The first was to upgrade the Sea Lass especially with the anticipated influx of people. Concurrently, the second project would be to conduct some maintenance and repairs on the docks for the same reason as improving the Sea Lass. At the end of the day, Priestess Luna, freshly out of nightsbane, had a dream about four figures on a desolate landscape that appeared to be arguing about something, but before the Priestess could hear any specifics she woke up.
The following day Zhorn had received a few requests from Hearthendel including what to do with Prince Renwick, what to do about the Wood Elf troops that have been mobilized as a result of his speech, and finally the power structure and who would manage Hearthendel in his stead as he continued his adventures. So Zhorn returned to Hearthendel to address the captains of the troops. Zhorn unveiled his tenets which he wished to spread amongst his people which involved:

• Striking Fear in the Hearts of the Enemies
• Promoting love with neighbors
• Don’t Be Racist
• Be Fair
• Guilty until Proven Innocent

He also created the TT with a newly promoted Captain Estes spearheading this “task force.” At the conclusion of Zhorn’s day in Hearthendel, Master Everen had invited Zhorn to be present at the Starlight Ceremony, a funeral ceremony native to the Wood Elves of the Island. Later that night the party gathered at the River to pay respects to the Fallen Forest Lord. Afterwards there was a feast in celebration of Lord Luthien’s life. It was at this time that Zhorn started to talk to Prince Renwick and provided him with possible options on how to proceed now that he is not in the shadow of his father. Fannti decided to prepare a special dish for the chefs. This night of integration with the cultures and customs of the wood elves earned the group a certain level of respect that they were hesitant to give during previous interactions.
A day later while Rhorn was busy at work with upgrades to the Sea Lass, Fannti and Priestess decided to travel down to the Underdark in search of more Night’s Bane. After getting some pointers from Lord Claremont on where to look, the two traversed further down, until Fannti had smelled the Nightsbane. This lead to a large mushroom where at the base were the dark leaves of the Nightsbane. However, when attempting to extract the herbs, the pair was attacked by a shadow that attempted to strangle Fannti, but the Priestess and Fannti were able to fight it off and harvest two weeks worth of Nights Bane. Back in Hearthendel, Zhorn received a report of the apprehension of two individuals believed to be associated with the attack at the Terra Trial. At captives will be held until Priestess Luna is present for the interrogation. The day concluded back at the keep with Jeeves taking you all to the secret wardrobe room where the party picked out a bunch of clothes for the Summit of Nations.
