Rhorn Woodcutter

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and in the quaint little village of Peche, that hero takes on huge proportions. Rhorn is a goliath of a man, handsome in a rugged way, blonde hair combed over neatly and well kept beard, reminiscent of the ones donned by the nomads native to the Northern Peaks. He has the chiseled physique of a man who has lived a life of hard manual labor. Standing at 7’6” the citizens of Peche literally look up to Rhorn Woodcutter.   As a man barely 30yrs of age his claim to Peche fame and beyond is rooted in his supernatural strength. It was said that Rhorn is so strong that he was able to chop down a Dagwood Tree with a singular swing of his axe, a feat that many bore witness to.   Rhorn moved from the Yuma Mountains to Peche as a child with his brother Zhorn as part of the Iberrian Relocation Act. Even then Rhorn showed a certain affinity to forest spirits called Timpers that only Rhorn could see. These spirits had bestowed upon a gift, a sort of focus that allowed him to amplify his strength and dexterity to superhuman levels. In return for these talents Rhorn offers whatever he can in bits of food or small trinkets to these tiny protectors.   He makes a living as a lumberjack in the Logging Outpost of Dumas located on the outskirts of the Forest of Secrets right at the Eastern edge of the state of Winwood. Four and a half days a week Rhorn works just enough to provide for his family. Although contradictory to the job, for every tree Rhorn cuts down he plants two seeds in it’s place, ensuring the balance of the ecosystem. On the weekends Rhorn returns home and resumes his other duties as a husband to his wife, Amalia, a dutiful resident of peche, and now a devoted father to his first child, Dexter(2yrs old).   When the call for volunteers came for Peche to raise a militia, Rhorn was one of the first to answer the call. Enlisting was an opportunity to live up to that hero label that was bestowed upon him. Next, Rhorn viewed this as an opportunity to assist in military service the way that his brother Zhorn did, and finally and most importantly, Rhorn seeks to protect those he loves.
