Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Carmen is a handsome woman, with a slender yet toned body. Her thick, black hair falls to her upper back. Despite her actual age, she appears to be in her mid-twenties.

Carmen has a fairly average build: her shoulders and hips are neither wide nor narrow, her waist is not much more narrow than her hips, and her bust is on the smaller side. It is clear she puts forth effort to keep her body in shape, but shows no signs of being able capable of great feats of strength. What she lacks in strength, she makes up for in agility; she moves with almost a dancer-like grace.

Carmen has a narrow jawline and chin and a matching nose. She has full lips and a pronounced brow. She usually makes herself up with medium red lipstick and blush and black eyeliner.
Apparel & Accessories
Carmen always wears a red-trimmed, black dress that covers up to her neckline along with a gilded, ornamental breastplate and pauldrons. She is also adorned with the stole of the Amyrlin Seat, a stole striped with seven equal lines, one each of green, red, gray, brown, yellow, blue, and white.

Morality & Philosophy
Carmen has an odd and innate guiding sense of balance. While many associate this to her being the child of druids and raised among them, it is not a sense of moral or natural balance, but one of cosmic balance. This is a manifestation of her odd ancestry: Carmen is a descendent of an aeon. In order to achieve this balance, she will do whatever she must to pursue it; law and chaos, good and evil, to her they are meaningless, there is only thought to maintaining this idea of cosmic balance.
Carmen joined the red ajah because she saw that the taint on saidin tipped the cosmic balance too far towards evil, so she mercilessly killed those that used such evil in an effort to restore the balance, namely male channelers. While many saw in her a perverse pleasure in killing male channelers, she only felt comfort that she was doing something to help restore balance.
The emerging of the Dragon and Amyrlin Seat Mefara Tiburs choosing to follow her tipped the cosmic balance too far towards good, so she took drastic measures to ensure that the balance was restored and could be maintained.

Carmen has six daughters, all six are planetouched, and different kinds at that. Her daughters are her everything, but only her genasi daughters joined the Aes Sedai, her aasimar and tiefling daughters left Avismore and have become High Swordlords of Rivvik, taking the name Telmari to show their acceptance into the Swordlord's house. Since the only outsider blood in Carmen's family is that of an aeon, people suspect she targeted men with these bloodlines in order to create her band of planetouched. Her daughters are:

Carmen is well-liked throughout the Tower, and those that don’t like her, at least respect her.
She sees Natasha Pendragon as someone who disrupts the cosmic balance of the world, as Carmen refuses to believe that Zolena is soon to return.
She rarely holds anyone in true contempt, but she despises Carolyn Maynet as an upstart and a threat to her position. Even before the Schism and her being raised to the stole, she saw Carolyn as a threat to the cosmic balance and someone she must prevent from gaining any standing in the order.
Social Aptitude
When she is not hyper-focused on maintaining balance, she is actually a pleasant person to be around. She smiles, jokes, drinks, sings, and otherwise takes great pleasure in good clean fun. She is kind to everyone as though they were her equal, but if someone tries to take advantage of her benevolence, she deals with them in a manner befitting their slight. However, it is through this kindness, that she gains much of her power. People seem to innately trust her and follow her because they believe she will make things better; this is how she was able to gain the following needed to overthrow Mefara Tiburs and take control of Avismore and the Aes Sedai.

Carmen has a very melodic voice that is almost captivating to listen to; she sings in the range of a high alto. In casual settings, her words are like honey and she speaks very poetically, but in formal settings, she is very direct, only saying what she views as necessary.
