Eventa
Eventa (ee-VEHN-ta) is the goddess of time, though most associate her more with birth, life, death, and fate. Eventa is the Keeper of the Great Wheel, the cosmic loom that weaves time into the Pattern. She is a divine being that was born at the creation of the universe and is one of the original nine deities.
Eventa maintains amicable relations with all deities and vice versa, as all souls of the dead go to her before being sent to the afterlife. The only exception is Zolena who wishes to end the Pattern and destroy the Wheel, though Eventa is very subtle in her attempts to subvert her; and Clydon, who she sees as an ally her duty of shepherding the souls of the departed, though Clydon prefers to think of himself as Eventa’s servant.
Most people will say a prayer to Eventa at some point in their lives, even if she is not their patron, as prayers to Eventa are said to aid in the healthy birth of a child and survival of the mother during birth, and prayers to Eventa help to allow the dying to ease their passing.
Though not as numerous, the temple keeps around a number of champions in order to aid the priests in dispatching undead and protecting them if they need to travel to deliver rites.
