Uranus (YOOR-ah-nus) is the god of Air, Autumn, and the Wilderness. Uranus is a divine being that was born at the creation of the universe and is one of the original nine deities.

Relationships

Uranus is the brother of Elys, Eventa, Surtr, and Ymir. He is the husband of Gaia and the father the Olympian Pantheon as well as the goddess Vydana.

Despite their vastly differing alignments, Uranus and Ymir are allies in their fight to keep Surtr from starting Ragnarok.

Appearance

Uranus takes the appearance of a male humanoid with a light-brown feathered body and his head and feet resemble those of a golden eagle. He wears only a white sash around his waist and olive trousers.

Church of Uranus

Uranus’ followers are usually those who tend and make their living among the wilds, including woodsmen and hunters. He also is favored by the reclusive avariel, or winged elves, as he is the Skyfather. Additionally, many sailors offer him prayers for fair winds in their travels, though they tend to favor Selena as their patron.

Uranus is also the venerated by the cloud giants, who make their homes upon the clouds.

Clergy

Uranus’ clergy are mostly druids and rangers living in groves deep in the wilderness, or on prominent hills and mountains. His priests tend to wear humble olive robes adorned with white swirls depicting the wind.

Temples and Shrines

Most of Uranus’ worship is in the form of druidry, and thus is done from reclusive groves. However, a number of his druids live in groves with druids of other faiths, so as to tend to his more civilized followers.
