Relationships
Ymir is the brother of Elys, Eventa, Surtr, and Uranus. Despite their differences, Ymir and Uranus have allied against Surtr to prevent Ragnarok. Additionally, Ymir tends to side with the gods of good in their war against Zolena as he poured much of his heart into creating the multiverse.
Other than the fights among the original nine, Ymir is indifferent to the other gods, though he considers Selena a close friend as she generally tends to those who traverse the seas, so he can focus on those who dwell on the ice. Because of his closeness to Selena, he tends to side with her over his brothers in the fight against Zolena.
Ymir is also the progenitor of the Norse Pantheon and the Morndinsamman, the dwarven pantheon.
Appearance
Ymir appears as a frost giant with silver hair, sapphire eyes, and blue skin. He wears scale mail over an ice-blue tunic and olive pants.
Church of Ymir
Many of Ymir’s followers are northron and cliyd wheau who pray to him to carry them through the harsh northern winters. Ymir is also the patron to most giants, the main exceptions being the fire giants, who follow Surtr, and the cloud giants who follow Uranus. However, most of his giant children he sees as having lost their way, becoming largely bandit-like and villainous, instead of the rigid structure he demands. His favored children are the young species of ice giants, who turned their back on their frost giant fathers and established more civilized steadings and promote friendly relations with humans.
Clergy
Ymir’s clergy is primarily druids and rangers, though he does have a few clerics within the northern cities. His priests wear fur-lined robes of ice blue with a white trim. He does not grant powers to templars or blackguards.
Temples and Shrines
Temples to Ymir are rare, and only exist in large cities. They tend to be small structures, constructed of white marble. They tend to be adorned with stone icicles hanging from overhangs. Most of Ymir’s worship is through druidry. Groves of druids of Ymir tend to be nearby to settlements.
