Personal history
Little is known of this mysterious yet instrumental figure in the history of the Little Kingdom. It is known that he led his people, the first humans, from a dying world into the world of Ember soon after the breaking of the Imperium. He followed the lead of his Gods, Alva and Tethyr, as they pursued the evil god Kozic. It was he that settled the first human settlement of Hearth-Home. When the little settlement was discovered by the Dwarves of Mythrandos, it was Sigmund who greeted them and created the first version of the Embershade Pact, declaring friendship and mutual aid between the two settlements and peoples. In the year 35 AA, Sigmund was betrayed by one he had called a friend, and delivered into the hands of the Cult of the Chained God. Though by all accounts an incredibly powerful sorcerer, he was overwhelmed in the legendary battle of Storms End. There is still a monument to that great conflict, the town of Storms End having grown up around it. Few characters in the history of the Little Kingdom are as revered as Sigmund of the Storm.
