Sequoyah is one of the ten main Elemental Familiars, serving Fliral. Sequoyah is a calm soul, tranquil and mysterious. She has a steady demeanor that is difficult to shake and appears relaxed in any given situation, even when the world around her is turbulent. She is elegant and vibrant, steadfast and nurturing. Despite her lovely personality she can also be cold and apathetic at times, detached and unapproachable. She is very intelligent, surpassing many humans in comparison, and is often lost in thought. While she isn't very personable many look to her for sound judgement and her sharp eye.

General Physical Condition

Sequoyah was born as a maned wolf and this remains her favorite form. However, she generally enjoys beautiful and elegant forms which are tall and thin or long limbed.

Able to take on the shape of any beast or animal she comes into contact with as well as freely manipulating plant magic, unless Fliral cuts her off.

Much like Duff and Spirit, Sequoyah was one of the original ten beasts chosen by the Accian hero. Much like Clay and Rain, she believes this hero took advantage of their naivety and general lack of perspective when he sucked them into his conflict. She works in tandem with Ilnithic in righting the balance of Emynea.
Failures & Embarrassments

Sequoyah feels her greatest mistake was participating in the Downfall of the Erlithmanil and in not guiding her allies better in stopping these events. She also feels it was her failure allowing their once pack to fall apart and still seeks to reunite the Ten Familiars, to repair the great schism between them.

Morality & Philosophy

While she cares deeply for her allies and for the balance of the world as a whole, she easily overlooks humanity especially on an individual basis. She sees them as no different than any other lifeform on Emynea, no better or worse than plants or animals but she surely sympathizes with them the least. They are one piece of the whole despite their arrogance. Otherwise, she enjoys order and sensible rules or habits. She knows all is bit a different piece of a greater picture, of the entire complex web that makes up a beautiful world. She dislikes those who overlook one piece for the sake of the overall balance, who dismiss smaller or seemingly less significant life. In this way, she is both nurturing and harshly detached.

Motivation

Like a number of other elemental familiars, Sequoyah works towards the revival of her master, Fliral, and the Erlithmanil themselves. She finds the schism between the Erlithmanil and their familiars to be trivial if not tragic. She wants to see her allies reunited as she believes they all wish for what is best for Emynea in their own way. She of course still sits on the side of the schism her master has chosen, with Lithmor and Stella, but she will also readily work with Lily Desjardins and Ilnithic. Her greatest motivation is simply the balance of nature in Emynea and the well-being of her cohorts.

Contacts & Relations

Unlike many of her cohorts, Sequoyah gets along quite well with her counterpart Kiba. While familiars like Duff and Stella can't stand each other she has no such qualm with Kiba. She generally gets along with all of the elemental familiars thanks to her easygoing personality.
