Powerful nations have brough peace to their parts of the world and after centuries of turmoil, most of the world has entered into a era of peace. On the surface, the status quo seems as solid as bedrock, but in the shadows an enemy older than civilization patiently waits for the cracks they placed centuries ago to tear the world asunder. It´s a world were a person can live their entire life in peace, trading goods as a merchant, keeping the peace as guard or plying the fields as farmer. It´s a place were nation states, guilds and orginasations have long since come to an agreement of power, and were the dangers of bandits, monsters and war has been minimised to the point of being forgotten. It´s in a century that is about to be reintroduced to the horrors of war, of monsters, devils and demons, and of the evil of men after a thousand years of relative peace.
