Sielen (See-elen)
Sielen is the Northwestern region of the area known as Western Galea which is made up of three kingdoms that sit on the western side of the Keleshin Mountains. The small mountain range known as the Calyn range separates Sielen from the Fureiyn kingdom of Leidrin on its eastern border. Its northern and western borders are made up of two port cities - Caerdsdryl in the north and Oudros in the west - and a handful of fishing villages that sit on the Actean Sea. Farmland and forests dot the remainder of the region, with the small town of Crisanjel sitting upon the inland crossroads route between Caerdsdryl and Oudros.
The capital city of Caerdsdryl is a sanctuary city, a hub of knowledge known as the Gem of the North. People from far and wide travel to this great city to learn the arts of magic and might from the two respective hubs of learning, the Leras Academy and the Magesworn Keep. It sits on the Numera Strait in the north.
Sielen is one of the only kingdoms to be ruled by a single Archmage who goes by the name of Lord Menakhet. He is a benevolent and wise ruler who has risen Caerdsdryl up to the status it is today. The Elemental Generals are his closest advisors, and the title comes with magical benefit, provided a life oath is sworn to the kingdom of Sielen.
