Seteism (Seteɪzəm)
Seteism is one of the most important cults within the empire. Primely a form of animism: the belief that everything has a soul and is part of the One is central.
Where it becomes more complexe is the belief that this soul is the afterglow of the primordial and unique goddess Sete. Indeed the concept of "the One" is deified. Sété represents the begining of everything, The goddess from which the univers was created and ordered. The particularity of this deity is that to seteists, Sete no longer exists. Or at least, no more as a goddess. By creating and ordering and giving life, Sete dissolved her self in her creation, becoming the force that bonds everything together and the soul to all living and not living thing.
Structure
The church is organised around temples, where priests are expected to perform the rituals to honor the "Spirits of the Elements" also called "Wardhs". There are four elements, therefor there are four kinds of templs and four kind of clergy. Above all of these there is the Great Priest of Sete who is the guarantor of the balance between the elements. And above him there is the emperor him-self who is the only one who can asign this function.
