The Creation

Celestial / Cosmic

The Prime Material Plane, The Hells, The Heavens and The First versions of all races are created.

First, Before anything else, The land and the sea were created by Geb and Poseidon together. Next, Amaterasu helped Ra form the sun and its rays of light. Zeus and Susanoo formed the sky as well as its clouds and weather. Hades and Izanami thought of and helped form the four Hells with input from the other gods. After which, They, along with Amaterasu and Ra once again, Created the heavenly planes. While this was happening, Ahriman and Odin settled on creating the living creatures of Erethes, Including most of the sentient races still alive today.   However, Trouble was brewing. Hecate, Along with a few others such as Asmodeus, Demeter and Thoth, Believed that there should be much more to make this new creation really feel alive. Hecate, With her arcane might, Conjured a celestial body to contrast with Ra's sun. Máni, The mirror from which Sól's light can dispel the darkness. Through this act, She also spread her arcane threads across the realms, Allowing mortals smart or strong enough to use fragments of her power.   Asmodeus, Believing the hells to not be what they should, Created his own. Nessus, A hell free from the bias and lack of justice that the others all shared. He formed this realm from the ground up, Molding it into the realm of penance that he knew it should be.   Demeter, With her wisdom and compassion, Created vegetables and fruits, Along with the trees and plants to grow them. But, She thought that the mortals should only be treated with a firm hand, As to teach them the capabilities of their resourcefulness and spirit. "You cannot expect them to develop if you don't force them to suffer through hardships. They may dislike it, Even hate it, But they will come out of the other side...  better." And with this, She created the seasons.   And finally, Thoth, Who decided that these creatures cannot even express themselves to each other like the gods could. And so, He traveled down to Erethes, And showed the mortals language, writing and the art of story-telling.
