  2. Voiced stops /b/, /d/, /g/ become voiceless /p/, /t/, /k/ in word-initial position.
  3. Voiceless stops /p/, /t/, /k/ between vowels become voiced /b/, /d/, /g/.
  4. Insertion of /ɪ/ after word-final voiceless stops.
  5. Vowels /i/, /e/ become /a/ in unstressed syllables.
  6. Nasals /m/, /n/ assimilate in place of articulation to a following consonant.
  7. Unstressed short vowels /a/, /i/, /u/ are deleted.
  8. Devoicing of word-final voiced fricatives.
  9. Assimilation of /r/ to a following or preceding /l/ (lateral assimilation).
  10. Labialization of /k/ to /kw/ before /o/, /u/.
  11. Shift of /s/ to /h/ before /i/.
  12. Fronting of /u/ to /y/ in the environment of front vowels.
  13. Lengthening of /e/, /o/ in open syllables.
  14. Word-final /n/ is lost.
