Nudur (new-door)

Princess Nudur/Gratix/Rola/Thela (a.k.a. Lady of the Moon)

Nudur, called Gratix by the Yiru, Rola by the Dragons and Thela by the Naria, is a goddess in the Aroic Pantheon. She is the goddess of life, marriage and creator of the moon, Mira. Nudur is the patron of mothers, she is invoked during wedding ceremonies and childbirth. In legend, Nudur was the one who suggested the creation of mortals and designed them in the image of the gods. Nudur is also Odemis' wife and the mother of Trisam- the god of animals, Unra- goddess of the hearth and Datix- the goddess of children.   Nudur helped create the Ice Crystal, a magical artifact gifted to the ruler of the ice riders. The goddess is also one who is said to have blessed the Snow Elves with their ability to survive subzero temperatures. Snow Elves believe they may travel to Moon Sight- her realm- when they die. She is most loved by the Xelong Clan, who follow the moon Mira's cycles.   In Perite and Grina, Nudur is known as Thela, and she has the sphere of stars added to her purview. She is said to have gifted the Naria with their ability to withstand the cold. In the fourth era, like her husband, she is one of the only gods to keep her original name.   In Rosil, Nudur is known as Gratix. The Yiru people say she was the second most powerful child of the great cat, Simar and the great fox Bisn, they gifted her the realm of life- for she valued it the most. As a nocturnal race, Gratix is very revered in the Yiru culture for her role as the goddess of the moon Mira.   The Dragon version of Nudur is called Rola, she is said to have blessed the first ice dragons with their abilities. As stated above Rola also created the Ice Diamond as a gift for the dragon riders, she is also said to have blessed the ice riders with their resistance to cold.
