Firoth

Geography

Firoth is an isolated continent separated from the rest of the continental mass by deep ocean. A tall mountain range separates the continental mass into four distinct regions, each with vastly different weather patterns.

Fauna & Flora

Much of the animal life on this continent is comprised of Mammals, often including Megafauna. The Dinosaurs common to the Eastern continent had become regionally extinct eons before the arrival of Human populations. Plant life is consistent in each region, comprising of a Coastal Tropical climate on the southern coast, high desert between that and the mountains, old growth forests in the high mountain valleys, rolling hills and grassy plains to the west and boreal forests to the north.

Natural Resources

Oak, fir, pine and redwood are logged from the northern forests. Grains are commonly grown in the southern regions, along with fruits that prefer warmer weather. Ferrous and precious metals are mined from the central mountains
