Norsca
Norsca is located in the south-east and is one of the three villages that supply Vigaris with goods. Norsca was founded by Clan Oxentail as it seemed to be a recurring path of the famous Dwarven Oxen that are used to haul the massive caravans across Eternium. Norsca is a strange village due to the amount of people that technically have residence there however due to the Oxen being creatures that need to be herded, tamed and trained in the wild Shepherds of these Oxen can be gone from two to three months at a time. This has led a strange rotations of workers in Norsca each being allocated a Season and being specially trained to suit the environment as well as the Oxen behaviour in this time. The Shepherds are paid throughout the year by the clan due to the massive demand however some Shepherds only return to Norsca for their season and stay to recuperate and then head to Vigaris for pleasure or to find off season work.
Norscan Shepherds also sometimes can be employed as Guards of this small village due to each one having been trained in killing any creatures that would attack or injure their precious Oxen. Although the Oxen are large beasts and add more value, the stronger they are sometimes young fall behind and the Shepherds guard them to ensure a constant flow of Oxen. These Shepherds are more akin to rangers. The Village itself is governed by a member of Clan Oxentail and this too is rotational due to the Clan members finding it incredibly dull to govern such a quiet place.
Infrastructure
Sarin's Shack
Sarin's Shack is a old lumbering structure that has been converted into a woodwork/blacksmith/workshop. Sarin is a old gnome that runs the workshop although limits his work to Woodwork. Sarin accepts all students and teaches them how to create, mend and build. The Lumber mill itself is in prestine condition due to Sarin demanding his students maintain the building, the bottom floor is open planned with two floors above for bedrooms and living space where Sarin at times houses newcomers that have no place to stay.
Shepherd's Shift
Shepherd's Shift that is the area around the Inn in the village. These cluster of buildings are the off season accommodations for the Shepherds which is vastly empty due to many travelling. However due to the employment contract of the Shepherds, this area cannot demolished and so remains largely emptied.
The Seasons Inn
Seasons Inn is a old barn that has been converted into a makeshift bar with a communal sleeping space above. The bar has several well-crafted stone pits that can be lit for the winter and has a warm family home feeling. Due to the remote location of the village there is no set tavern owner it is again rotated amongst four Shepherds who go by their season in name.
Oxentail Manor
Oxentail Manor is a well built carved stone and wooden structure although on its orginal design it appears far too large to be a in a village. This is due to the original expectation of the Clan to make Norsca into a tow however, over time, this did not come to pass. It houses the guards travelling with the Clan member and, although has large grounds, it is rarely used and in some parts appear overgrown.
Old Groot's Farm
Old Groot's Farm is a small area around a windmill that is used for growing vegetables by the Dwarf lovingly known as Old Groot. This area isn't big enough to feed the village, however, the produce is used to feed the Oxen aswell as used in big celebrations around the village. Many people do not go here due to the Old Groot being a bit of a hermit.
