Tamara's Tassels
Tamara's Tassels is a high end brothel in the town of Meridian, in the southern region of the The Empire of the Runekeepers.
Run by a beautiful and sophisticated Eladrin woman, named Kaibis, business never runs quietly at Tamara's Tassels, as it is well renown in the surrounding area for high class adult entertainment, luxury treatment, excellent food and wine, and charismatic workers.
There are no restrictions on who can work at Tamara's in terms of race or gender, the only stipulation is that members of staff genuinely enjoy the work they do, and if that ever changes, they find another path in life better suited for them.
Kaibis herself works as the Madam of the establishment, under her stage name "Tamara" and is well respected as a kind and gentle woman who takes excellent care of her staff and customers alike, she is bardically inspired, and can often be found singing or playing the harp for her client's entertainment during the evenings.
Purpose / Function
Tamara's Tassels is a high class brothel, providing relaxation and company for clientele as well as adult entertainment, as well as having a bar for alcoholic beverages.
Architecture
The brothel itself is a two story Elven chalet style building, with an amassed selection of beautiful white stone facades, a pantile tiled gabled rooftop, blind dormers, chimneys, ornamental timber frames, decorative door ironworks and prominent eves, front porches and verandas.
Inside, with an eclectic layout of assorted bedrooms, washrooms and entertainment rooms, as well as a large downstairs bar and dance stage, the building is a beautiful mesh of Elven architecture and expensive décor. Every wall is painted with luxurious shades of red, purple and gold with gorgeous hanging gossamer drapery and glittering chandeliers. The furnishings are plush and comfortable, often with worked leather and suede, and white oak wood trimmings.
Defenses
Kaibis employs three bouncers to ensure only serious clientel are allowed inside the building, these bouncers include two half-orcs and a dragonborn.
Kaibis herself is not afraid to get stuck in to defend her staff and clients from troublemakers.
History
Tamara's Tassels was formerly a regular tavern and inn, built around the same time as the town of Meridian itself. While in this form it went by a different name, The Olde Chestnut, which ended up losing profits due to struggling with its client base and the lack of tourism in the region.
Eventually on the verge of going bust, the owner of the Chestnut sold up and moved away, selling the establishment to a pair of Eladrin sisters, Kaibis and Juliana.
