Session 9 - Yussa's Tower Report

General Summary

Met with Yussa, he expressed his displeasure at hearing the group did not treat Kendal very well. Initially, he did not believe that they were members of the Library, and still is hesitant but agreed to listen anyway. After hearing what they had to say, he asked why they visited and what they wanted. Throughout all of this Ignatius sat stoic and unmoving....seemingly in a daze. Eventually it was agreed that Yussa would transport them, magically, to the former site of the lost library.   Upon arriving, the group found a giant hole in the ground, full of water. Beside this 'lake' a tent sat with some leftover hunting material. They explored the area, finding that a hunter was nearby, just over the mountaintop, but there apeared no trace of the lost library. Aeldred, summoned a snake, which swam down in the water and tried looking around, unfortunately, snakes arent very observant so it saw nothing. Vespera stripped off and dove in, disovering a world of interwoven lines and ghostly structures. It appeared to be the lost library, or a ghostly image of it at least.     Telling this to the group, they bedded down for the night in a small little cave nearby, had a mysterious interaction with the Hunter, 'named S' and then began some experiments. They found at the very bottom, a ghostly imprint of one of the security communicators as well as two more in the levels above. They also found outside the lake, now that it was raining, about 6 imprints of the focus' used to close the library doors. Avon, having one on him, held it up to discover that it dissapeared and a similar, but different one took its place. The ghostly immage dissapeard. He took this new one and pressed it to another and found that it shunted the new one away and left him with two. Repeating this for all 6 images, the group learned that there was Dunamantic and Planar energy lingering on them and they must have been transported through time/space. The original focus did not have the dunamancy however. They repeated the process with 2 of the communicator rocks, leaving the 3rd incase they needed to communicate later.     While toying with the communicator rocks, a robotic, changing voice could be heard in response to their questions. It spoek criptically, but essentially described a timeless void that the other end found themselves in. Not wishing to mess with things anymore, the group decided to head down into the town of Deastock to have a look around and get some answers.
