Asmodeus was released in Avalir. The Ring of Brass thwarted his attempt to release two primordial titans from their prison beneath Mount Ygora but destroyed the Tree of Names that sealed them away, instead transporting them to the Astral Sea. Furious about the loss of his allies, Asmodeus smote the city, sending it plummeting into Cathmoíra and Mount Ygora. The impact was magnified by Avalir's vast stores of aether, and the resulting explosion decimated the entire continent of Domunas.
