The Emerald Enclave
"The natural order must be respected and preserved."
The Emerald Enclave are a loose, decentralised collective whose main aim is to defend the natural world and fight back against threats that would endanger it. It's membership is mainly made up of individuals who thrive in the wilderness & are survivalists by nature, often drawing in druids, rangers and barbarians as their supporters and is generally viewed as an organisation for good. Found across the entirety of Faeurn, they have little in the way of formal hierarchy or organisation and often consist of individuals relying on their own skills and strengths to affect change. When greater danger threatens however, they will bound together and together can illicit a brutal and savage response to threats.
Beliefs
They are founded around three key beliefs:- The natural order must be respected and preserved.
- Forces that seek to upset the natural balance must be destroyed.
- The wilderness can be harsh. Not everyone can survive in it without assistance.
In the Moonsea Region
As with the other major Faeurn factions, the Enclave influence is new in the region and they have done well to expand in the unclaimed wilderness of the frontier. As civilisation continues to expand deeper into the untamed regions of the Moonsea, their role is becoming ever more important in maintaining the balance between old and new worlds. Ever since the region was settled their has been constant crisis and flashpoints between the settlers and natives, the Enclave having played a role in many disputes and on more than one occasion has helped prevent catastrophe. As such, they are actively recruiting and always on the look out for those who could help provide a watchful eye on the city states ambitions and help preserve much of the yet untouched wilds of the region. In the region itself, the Emerald Enclave have a number of clustered activists, particularly in heavily forested areas & untouched wilderness and are active throughout the fringes of the settled areas. As with the wider factions, they have no local or formal leadership or organisational structure and each member operates independently and by whatever directive they see fit. The Enclave do hold a permanent presence in some settlements such as Elventree and the Quivering Forest in which they offer support and shelter as well as assistance (but never leadership) in maintaining the natural order and wherever their is conflict with nature, the Enclave will never be far.History with the Party
