Yuma
Yuma is a large city along the Colorado River, belonging to Caesar's Legion. Founded in the 1800s by Spanish settlers, then shifting hands to America, it was always inhabited, even after the apocalypse of 2077. During the first couple of centuries the survivors within the ruins eked out a meager existence attempting to survive the harsh summers. When the Legion entered the region in the 2260's Yuma was deemed a perfect place to build atop of, considering the natural narrowing of the Colorado river, for the time when crossing west was to come. Yuma's old structures were torn down, and used with the rest of the rubble to construct a new, spartan-like city in its place. When the legion began settling its veterans in the 2290s the city saw a population boom.
Yuma was used as a diversion by Legate Indolus in 2299 to mask his advance into the New California Republic. By calling up the city's veterans for large-scale drills, the NCR garrisons focused on Yuma, and were caught by surprise two days later. Now Yuma serves as the closest major city to the active frontline, supplying almost everything to Legion Troops only 50 miles west.
Government
Yuma is the believed capital of one of the Legion's legates, but which one is unknown.
Defences
Yuma has several walls, towers, a large garrison, artillery, and tens of thousands of veterans.
Infrastructure
Old Yuma, including its old west historical sites, is gone. Now the city is a uniform grid, complete with a governor's palladium, hall of judgement, garrison fort, large market, running water, power, and water mills. There is also attempts to rebuild the pre war bridge across the Colorado River.
