Emir Sanek Valdor

Emir Sanek Valdor is the ostensable ruler of the City-State of Marhold. There are no hereditary positions of power within the city, and as such the Emir is elected by the Honorable Council. Sanek Valdor, a dusky-skinned human merchant prince, has done an admirable job as merchant prince. His greatest accomplishment was re-opening the Dark Gate and establishing trade with Rakator.
