Ability Scores: Choose one of: (a) Choose any +2; choose any other +1 (b) Choose any +1; choose any other +1; choose any other +1   Size: Small or Medium   Speed. Your walking speed is 30 feet. Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.   Sleep with One Eye Open. You have proficiency in the Perception skill. Additionally, when you sleep, you can see as normal, as one of your eyestalks is always awake.   Eye Rays. You have six eyestalks. When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of your attacks with an magical ray from one of your eyestalks. Roll a d6 to determine which ray fires.   1 - Charm Ray The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be Charmed by you until the beginning of your next turn.   2 - Stun Ray The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be Stunned until the beginning of your next turn.   3 - Fear Ray The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be Frightened of you until the beginning of your next turn.   4 - Slow Ray The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or have their move speed reduced by half until they beginning of your next turn. In addition, on thier turn, they can take either an action or bonus action, not both.   5 - Telekinetic Ray The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be moved horizontally 10 feet in the direction of your choice.   6 - Disintegration Ray The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d8 force damage. This damage increases to 3d8 at 5th level, 4d8 at 11th, and 5d8 at 16th.   The saving throw DC for your Eye Rays is equal to 8 + Your proficiency bonus + Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma (choose when you select this race). You can use your Eye Rays a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.   Central Eye. You gain the Death Ray cantrip. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this spell when you cast it with this trait (choose when you select this race). In addition, when you cast any spell with the word "Ray" in it's name, you can cast it from your central eye without using any verbal or somatic components.   Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language that you and your DM agree is appropriate for your character.   Watchers are humanoids who have undergone the Ritual of Byrgen, transforming them into beholder-human hybrids. They have a variety of skin-tones, and have one cyclopean central eye, with six eyestalks growing from the head instead of hair.. The majority of Watchers are the leaders of the Cabal of Eyes, the beurocaratic Thunvrak worshippers in the city of KolTeroth.
