Ledia

Ledia is a mountainous region, once having spread farther north towards the borders of Irasia and Mompi, after the War in the Heaven the lands were corrupted, and a demonic gate forcing it's inhabitants out into the surrounding lands. Now, that scarred land is called Funhia, while the mountainous region that had once sprawled into it is called Ledia.
These lands are almost baren except for the hardy trees and grass that grow on the various rocky mountains. However, what makes these mountains special is their hardiness, with their stone being hard to dig through and the sheer vastness of it's mountain ranges, providing ample home to Dwarves and Orcs alike.

Geography

The peaks of Ledias various mountains can often be seen piercing the skies, green forests covering them like a thick coat. The valleys below are filled with pathways that wind in between the mountains. It's a common sight to see cities perched at the top of these mountains, or small hamlets nestled into the valleys around large reservoir lakes made through the years of heavy rainfall. Many of the mountains here are made of a strange rock named cultun, a very heavy and dense rock that is difficult to move and build with.

Fauna & Flora

At the top of the mountains, white snow covers the hard rock there. But as one behinds to more down, grass begins to grow before giving away to conifers that dominate the timberline here. As the one goes down the mountain, the climate grows warmer, giving way to a almost sweltering heat at the base that allows for the growth of beautiful trees and flowers.

The various animals that live her must be able to adapt to the constantly changing temperatures as one moves up and down the mountains. Most prominently can be found bugbears, giants, ogres, basilisks and so on.

Natural Resources

Every mountain is said to have enough metal to outfit an entire army. The dwarves have taken advantage of this, digging deep into the earth in order to extract whatever resources they can. Amongst these resources are the famed minerals mithril and adamantium.
