Provincial Lord/Lady
A Provincial Lord or Lady is a powerful figure who governs over a province within the Gaulan Plains. These leaders are responsible for maintaining law and order, collecting taxes, and providing essential services to their constituents.
In many cases, a Provincial Lord or Lady is a noble or aristocrat, born into a position of power and privilege. They may have inherited their title, or been appointed by the Highking in recognition of their loyalty and service to the realm.
The leaders of the Provinces often live in grand estates or castles, surrounded by wealth and luxury. They may employ a retinue of servants and soldiers to carry out their orders and protect their interests.
Provincial Lords and Ladies are not without their challenges and responsibilities. They must balance the needs of their people with the demands of their monarch, and navigate complex political and social landscapes in order to maintain their power and influence.
Some Provincial Leaders are seen as a benevolent figure, working to improve the lives of their constituents and promote justice and fairness within their realm. However, in other cases, they may be viewed as corrupt or oppressive, using their power to enrich themselves at the expense of the common people.
