Taiseanam

Taiseanam is a drizzled land, where the lush wetlands and tobacco farms coexist with the remnants of a mining industry that was devastated by a catastrophic flood centuries ago. The people here are a hardy and resilient bunch, having adapted to the challenging environment and carved out a unique and diverse culture influenced by the Dakar seafarers and the Hill Dwarves who tend to the tobacco farms. The people of Taiseanam are fiercely proud of their home and determined to make the most of the resources they have left. The damp, misty landscapes and the smell of wet earth and fresh tobacco leaves linger in the air, creating an atmosphere that is both eerie and inviting   Taiseanam is a province known for its wetland terrain, which was caused by a flood that lasted for 12 years over 200 years ago. This has made it difficult to mine in the region, but it is home to many tobacco farms run by the Hill Dwarves. The province also has a large population of Dakar, who are known for their seafaring and industrialist ways.
Local flora & fauna of the region consists of tall towering trees and overgrowth, occasionally culled away for mines for the local mostly-dwarven population.
Started as a workers collective, it is now ruled by a Barrowlord, Morrin Irongut, who claimed the seat from his mother, Lesley. She rose to power through pure willpower and force of personality, fighting through the masses to point her working kin towards a greater good for her people.
