Tombking Ammon Rhytyn
Tombking Ammon Rhytyn
Ammon Rhytyn was thrust into power as a child following his mother’s unexpected death, raised under the guidance of the Unspoken Ishtar and her daughter, Tiamep. He was shaped by the scheming and politics of the Caluan court, forming the Tombguard and Sandcloaks to protect the desert nation. The Sandcloaks were already a force for justice and protection but Ammon gave them coin backing from the Hierarch. His reign saw bitter conflict, as family rivalries and old loyalties flared, leading to a brutal confrontation with his great ancestor, Ghi'Nan. Though initially a puppet, he grew more assertive in his later years, opposing the concentration of power in his partner Tiamep's hands, though he never fully escaped her influence. His death left a dynasty tangled in its own machinations, setting the stage for further turmoil.
