Ap

The Ap River¹ is one of the three great rivers that flow through western Vagalkan, and the second longest. A few kingdoms established by the native Galkans border Ap, most notably Kosjal, centered around the city of Alket along the lower river to the north.

Geography

Ap River originates in the eastern Deþren Mountains, from where it flows generally to the north and then northeast until it finally drains into Akral Sea. Like the other great rivers of Vagalkan, it floods part of the year in a fairly predictable manner, replenishing the soil near its banks and provides the inhabitants with arable land where large-scale agriculture would otherwise be impossible.
