Defences
Arasógnú is defended by a palisade and numerous towers, and entered through one of three fortified gates, one to the north and two to the south.
Industry & Trade
The city is an important trading hub in the region, with goods coming from as far as Vagalkan and Ænadó to the north, the Gnákan Savanna to the west and the tribes along the coast of Túróon Sea to the east.
Notable industries there include ironworking and the making of shell beads and raffia textiles.

Infrastructure
Due to its location on both sides of Ivak River, the city's plan differs from that of most Vevúni settlements, which are traditionally circular and centered on a common pasture for livestock and a ceremonial plaza. While Arasógnú retains the circular plan, the pastures are located along the riverbanks and Kán Island at the heart of the city functions as the ceremonial plaza, where ritual dances are performed around a sacred wooden pillar.
The city is divided into several neighbourhoods, formed by arranging homes in a circle around a common area used for working, bartering and socializing in general, some of which also function as markets. The one inhabited by the aristocracy is located to the west, along the northern bank of Ivak.
Bridges connect the the halves of Arasógnú as well as the island, though using the latter bridges to cross the river aside from festivals is discouraged.

Architecture
The people of Arasógnú live in longhouses with domed roofs, constructed from woven raffia fibres covering a wooden frame, each housing multiple families. The houses in the city are among the largest in Karatvánamb Forest, some eighty meters long and eight meters wide, rivaling those found in Hatvál, capital of the Ptivamanaktem Alliance beyond the Hík Mountains to the south.

Ooh, I love the city sitting on the river with bridges connecting the different pieces. And the structure sounds kind of like circles within circles, with all the most important places in the center. That's really neat, and different than any place I've lived irl.
