Ænadó

Ynamok:
Ænadó (ænatíska)

Ænadó is one of the two major powers in northern Túlmikkía, along with Vagalkan, the former being located in the northeastern part of the continent and the latter further west. It's bordered by Vagalkan to the southwest, the Akral Sea to the west and north, Túróon Sea to the east, land of the Vevúni and independent Taxótans to the south.
Ænadó's capital is Nat, in the northern part of the country.
It's primarily a mercantile empire, with a focus on trading olive oil, wine and luxury goods for other materials it lacks, though the Ænateans are not averse to taking up arms against pirates and those who threaten their trade-routes or, more recently, fledgling colonies up in the Talax Mountains or along the eastern coast of Túlmikkía.

Structure

Government

The kings of Ænadó are elected by heads of the country's most distinguished families, though since most of them have historically belonged to the Mædak family, it's something of an unofficial dynasty at this point. Members of these important families together form a council which oversees the military, treasury and foreign affairs.
The current ruler is Ymsa Mædak.

Provinces

Ænadó is divided into four provinces, three along the coast, namely Mapaajes to the west, Depem to the north, Valmta to the east, and Gatalak in the central Talax Mountains to the south.
