Isin Isthmus
The Isin Isthmus1 is a narrow strip of land which connects the continents of Emlas to the north and Túlmikkía to the south, between Akral Sea to the east and Galafam Sea to the west. The Merr Islands are located east of the isthmus, while Esm is found to the west.
Isin Isthmus has long been important for the inhabitants of Gætíus' World; it's where people first crossed from Túlmikkía into Emlas and Laxilþía millennia ago, and since then numerous adventurers, merchants and even entire tribes and armies have traveled there back and forth through the ages.

Fauna & Flora
The wildlife is generally similar to that found both in the Zúdalikí Desert to the north and arid Aam to the south, including desert wolves- and foxes, antelopes, road runners and jerboas, and sea-lions are found along the coast. The local flora consists mostly of hardy plants like cacti and thyme.
