Zúdalikí Desert

The Zúdalikí Desert1 covers much of southeastern Emlas, bordering the fertile Zamra Mountains to the northwest and the fertile lowlands east of them to the northeast, the Úrtal Sea to the west and Akral Sea to the south, the Isin Isthmus to the southwest and the hills along the eastern edge of Imkala to the west.
The main sources of water a scattered oases and a few rivers flowing through the region, most notably the Namazús, which is one of the few that doesn't dry up during the summer, but also the most unpredictable.

Geography

The region is a continuation of the deserts of northwestern Túlmikkía beyond the Isin Isthmus.

Fauna & Flora

The Zúdalikí Desert is home to a number of hardy animal species, particularly near the edges and along the coast, including foxes, antelopes, snakes and lizards, scorpions, grasshoppers and bees, small rodents and, along the coast, sea-lions, flamingos and pelicans. The desert also supports plants such as cacti and thyme, along with reeds and other vegetation along the rivers.
