Noron
Rexlas: Noron
The Noron River1 is a major river in southern Laxilþía. Like Talran River, its main tributary, it once formed the main boundary between the major laxilþían civilizations -Jatrilnúxans, Pakrans and Rexans- to the west on one hand, and the various tribal peoples such as Hótics to the east on the other, as well as colonies founded by Ænateans.
Even as the latter became part of the empire of Resak and Noron is now entirely under rexan rule, many rexans still regard the lands east of the river as the outer, wilder provinces as opposed the heartland centered around the Kalis Swamp.
The river acts as a highway for transporting goods and people within the provinces of Apan-Ódolalx, Atal-Ódolalx and to the newly conquered territories on the Tingrenis Plain beyond the Katark Mountains to the north.
