Boonwell

Geography

Located in the Eastbank district of Nineboons, the Boonwell has been a place of pilgrimage for people all around Skint Parish.  
The "well" isn't really a well at all, but rather a deep natural pond that has been in existence as long as the city itself.
It seems to be impossibly deep. There are rumors that a blessed individual once reached the bottom of the Boonwell, but nobody seems to be able to confirm that.

Localized Phenomena

People come from all over to bath in the well's waters, which always seem to be immaculately clean. There have been reports of the water healing the infirm, mending the injured, and even raising the dead. More skeptical locals believe this to be rank exaggeration, but even the most cynical Booner will acknowledge that something is happening here.

History

The early days of the Boonwell, much like the early days of Nineboons, is largely undocumented. Local legend has it that the well was formed from the impact of a rogue asteroid, perhaps either being a part of (or trailing in the wake of) Gnet. Devotees of the well's waters each have their own theory as to the well's origins.
