The Crestwoods
The Crestwoods are owners of a transportation network that includes Absalom, Kyonin's Greengold, and the River Kingdoms.
They have only one other competitor in transportation The Emberswifts.
Both families have representation in The People's Council with opposing view points.
Public Agenda
- Crestwoods are working to make the East Hills safe
- They currently have a deal with Kyonin and Highhelm to create a rail way connecting them to Almas
- They want to create a trade embargo against Druma for being a center of slave trade in the region. They hope that either cutting off Druma long enough or hurting them economically would significantly disrupt slave trade

History
The Crestwoods first gained power and influence under the Cheliax Empire. They were able to gain so much power due to their participation in the slave trade among other goods.
The People's Revolt occurred and the then head of the family Tronvath Crestwood was exiled for his part in slave trading which is now outlawed under the new democratic government of Andoran. Control of the family's assets (minus payment that the government took as recompense) was turned over to Tronvath's son, Ardum Crestwood, who was a well known anti-slavery activist and a contributor to the revolution. He and his wife Lerren Crestwood were able to build up the family to what it is today.
Tragically Ardum and Lerren went missing and are presumed dead during the Diligente Shipwreck . According to Ardum's will, the family's assets were to be left in control of the eldest daughter Sofra Crestwood.
