Chai'tani Palace

Chai'tani Palace sits high above the city of Al Zahar, and is the home of the Sultana of Zul Garahn, Thessaly Zubiria. The large arch of solid rock curves its way over the city, and Chai'tani Palace sits at the very top. The palace is filled with intricate carpets, silk tapestries and ornate furniture.
The gardens of Chai'tani Palace host many exotic birds that rest there as they migrate. Sultana Zubiria enjoys feeding them as they visit. Along with the birds, the garden holds lush plant life of all kinds and small ponds with many fish of all colours.
The palace also boasts ornate baths, exclusive to the Sultana and her closest handmaidens. A spiral staircase twists its way up the outside, and carved into the side of the arch are small homes that house the nobles of Al Zahar and the servants of the Sultana.
The southern end of the palace is dedicated to the barracks of the Throneguard, Thessaly's personal order of guards. Her paranoia causes her to keep them close at all times, and she refuses to leave the palace without a retinue of guards at her side.
