Coldpond has a manned wall around the town, with a handful of guarded gates.

Industry & Trade

Fishing at Coldpond Lake is a large part of the workforce here, as well as the central markets. Coldpond is famous for finding work on a ship or as a guard.

History

The town was always in constant battle with Stoneview because they didn't agree with the Dark Dwarves, but since they were replaced by nicer tenants then there's been a strong friendship. The walls and large fortress is a memory of this hostile relationship.

The Dark War

Coldpond was instrumental in The Dark War. The then leader, Lord Tanpanton, sided with Agrob out of cowardice, which led to Coldpond becoming a slave camp for the orcish armies. Coldpond was eventually restored after the war and new rulership was instated.
