Shylock the Doppleganger
(a.k.a. The Salinmoor Grifter, Shylock the Deceiver)
Shylock is a doppleganger that prowls the region of southern Keoland known as the Salinmoor, looking for his next opportuny for an easy score or gainful employment. Above all, he is a thief, liar, and infiltrator of surpreme talent. He was last seen in the Court of the Black Willow, serving as the Moor King's herald in the guise of Sir Ephraim Lee of Seaton.

Personal history
Shylock built a reputation as a master con-artist in the Free City of Greyhawk with a foundation of skilled larceny, impersonation, and trickery, and quickly found himself in demand. After angering all the wrong people, however, Shylock went from "in demand" to "wanted dead" and was forced to escape to Keoland where he settled in the Duchy of Salinmoor.
Employment
Shylock's most recent employment was in the service of the Pack Lord Varulven where he impersonated the Herald of the Duke of Seaton in an attempt to free the witch Gammle Heks, a member of the Coven of Midnight. The plan failed and after being captured he negotiated a deal with the Red Badges of the Overwatch for his freedom.

Shylock is the first to admit that he is not a killer, but will shamelessly rob just about anyone of anything if it benefits his situation. While he is motivated by a desire for wealth and reputation, his priority is always his own continued survival and he is willing to sell out any employer if it means maintaining his freedom.
