Heaven's Path

Month 1, Day 2, 2 RE

Much of the mythos in Tian Wu Yan is loosely based off of ancient Chinese mythology as it was displayed across various time periods. This image depicts Chang'e, but I do not know the exact context of this picture. For me, I feel it is not strictly necessary given that this campaign is entirely personal. The immediate aesthetic qualities are what I am mainly drawing inspiration from. Photo from Google Images.
Elements of steampunk, magitech, and dynastic China merge together as the essence of Fengqi. People don't necessarily look like what is depicted above, but the vibes are similar. Art by FragileWhispers on Deviantart.
Real life national parks and other wilderness areas are the blueprint for much of Tian Wu Yan's geography. Depicted here is Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Southern China, whose towering karst formations directly inspired the Heavenly Spires. Photo from Google Images.
As a conservation biology major, it is only natural that I would spend a significant chunk of worldbuilding time into crafting weird and wondrous creatures, ecosystems, and biomes. I also try to ensure that I factor in the niches that sentient species fill in their respective habitats. Photo from New York State University website.
Warning: This campaign and world setting are EXTREMELY queer. Straight people are advised to proceed with caution, and with love. Photo from Google Images.
The cast of SKRUNGUS. These are the player characters of Elton, Maltose, Bubbles, and Bread, who are my wonderful friends! Without their participation and input, none of this would be possible. Image composed Breadworth using additional art drawn by Maltose and Elton.
If I am ever feeling down and lost, look to this spectacular meme to cheer me up. More often than I'd like, I take myself way too seriously which often results in ADHD-and-anxiety-fueled hypercritical spiraling. I am here to have fun and make sure my players have fun, and if at any moment I am not having fun, this is my reminder to step back, breathe, and laugh it off. Image by Maltose.
