Amallur

An ancient gathering place of the Highland Tribes, not much of a city, rather it seems more like a relatively close cluster of different settlements, with an extensive central place, this place is used to host the annual Solstice fest, where the clans celebrating the coming of summer by gathering the last of the winter reserves and telling stories to another, many competitions and games are hosted for a week, starting with plays and games, and ending in drunken revelry before the old sages tell their stories.
The city is ruled by the great ting, a gathering of elders from each community and tribe, though there is little ruling to be done, it is more considered a census to see if each clan is holding up to the coming of winter and if they might need aid from one another.
