Jeila
The Reveler, Master of Whiskey and Baron of Beer, The Great Composer, The Laughing God and The Mad God. Jeila
Firstborn of Lirika and Tenak'uan, her birth caused a great scandal among the Pantheon, that one of their own would enter a union with a mere primordial was cause for great distress, as many feared the loyalty of such a scion. Though it was with great reluctance that she was admitted into the Pantheon, it was done as a gesture of goodwill by Raziel, Jeila was always aware of her position in court and thus tread with great care. She grew to be a timid being, ever careful of her words and deeds. Perhaps that is why she spent more time amongst the mortals and the firstborn, allowing her to be free amongst them, though ultimately it this relation many suspect caused her madness.
The Curse
It is said that during the conflict between the Pantheon and their firstborn, she went to the firstborn, as she had been close to them, it is said she wanted to beg for an old friend to stand down, but that has been lost to time. All that is known is that when she came back to the heavens she was out of herself, the reserved and quiet child danced and frolicked in the hall of the gods, singing playing mortal instruments while laughing to all but herself, they saw in her eyes no reason, only a great madness. For this, she was banished and stripped of her titles and thrown from heaven, an act that spurned the red moon. Upon the mortal plane did she bring her song and dance with her, whipping mortals into week-long frenzy of festive joy and rampant desires, encouraging them to forget about war and suffering to live only with her joy. Though to many, she took too far, making them dance till they broke, drink till they puked and some unto death, laughing with her as they faded away. It was only by her sister's temperance that she could be chased away.Aspects
