Ulfcarn

Northernmost of the three great cities of the Korvlands, Ulfcarn was once the smallest of the old cities, deriving it's name from the old castle of the Ulf dynasty, these days it has grown far beyond that, being the closest to the holy mountain, the northern lands received the most bountiful of blessings.
Ulfcarn itself is not a very industrious city, in the past, it had only its small foundry the Ulfholm was capable only of producing smaller Engines for their machine riders, meant little industry was needed to support their production, and little resources were available for it anyway. But now in flourishing times, Ulfcarn is busy producing goods grown from all over their lands and have taken to it with great fervor, fiercely proud of what they produce and ever experimental in their newfound products, the most outlandish and even popular dishes hail from Ulfcarn, or at least so they would claim.
The city itself is rather plain, the folk of the north ever being spartan in most things found outside of their kitchen, being solid robust stone the thing they've never really lacked in. Thus the city to many seems rather stiff and plain and monotone with its grey walls and blue shingles made from the odd colored clay found in the region. It's rapid growth in it's early years saw rapid planning to try and standardize the city layout, often seen the more elegantly designed parts of the older city, which quickly spirraled too fast as the city boomed, into the more standardized Jakob square truly cementing the city as a dread to look upon by most foreigners.
