Oakhurst Keep
Situated on the Southwest side of town, on a small hill, lies Oakhurst Keep. It has 15 foot tall stone walls arranged in a pentagon shape which are wide enough for single archers to position themselves on top of. The only entrance into the keep is through the gatehouse located at the northeastern section of wall that connects to the main road through town.
Inside the walls lies several more buildings. Most notably is the Keep itself. Standing about 5 stories tall with stone construction, it is easily the tallest building in town, with only the Temple of Gond, Oakhurst coming close near the riverbank. There also is the barracks for the town guard, as well as some stables for horses. Additionally there is the Count's guest quarters that are directly opposite of the keep, with lavish decorations should a member of Royalty, or VIP come to Oakhurst. There is also the workers quarters to the west containing several rooms for servants, as well as gardens for the Count. Finally, there is the Count's storehouse which is loaded with various dry goods, provisions and other necessities should the town be placed under siege. The storehouse also doubles as crowded-yet-secure housing for the townspeople to retreat to in the case of a seige as well.
