Ludova
This tropical port city is somewhat past it's prime. The main docks are crumbling into the sea, and the west parts of the city are mostly abandoned, reclaimed by the jungles. However, despite being in a sorry state it is still a viable trade and fishing port.
Earlier this century, around 203 CE, Ludova exploded from a small village to a massive port as part of a resource boom. Gold and rare herbs were both discovered nearby in abundance, but were harvested and mined completely within 20 years, and the towns relative opulence began to swiftly fade...
Now, most of the merchants and business have moved on to other, more prosperous ports, but the town continues on. Tropical fish and pearls are still harvested from he sea and nearby rivers, and herbs can still be found in the jungle, though far less frequently than before.
Demographics
Ludova is a primarily human settlement, but also hosts a large goblinoid population.
- Humans (including Half-Elf and Half-Orc) - 40%
- Goblins - 20%
- Bugbears and Hobgoblins - 15%
- Lizardfolk - 10%
- Orc - 5%
- Halfling - 5%

Government
Ludova is run by an elected council, which is voted for and re-selected once every 5 years. No villager can serve two consecutive terms, though there is no limit on total number of terms served.
Defences
A short Palisade wall surrounds the town, to keep animals and the jungle itself from moving into the town proper. However with the abandonment of the west side of the town a new smaller palisade was also built to help keep the occupied areas separate and protected from the abandoned parts of town.
Industry & Trade
Ludova is served primarily by Fishing, Logging, Herb gathering, and Clay products, as the river banks nearby are rich with sturdy, red-brown clay.
