History

Formed more than 280 years ago, Norpost was settled originally to serve as the final stop on the Grande Rocc North-South Tradeway. Originally settled by Humans and Hobgoblins, it has since become a regular stop for dwarves, halflings, gnomes and even other goblinoids looking for a new life on the northern frontier.

Geography

The area around the village is mostly flat, though there are small rolling hills and the occasional bluff. This cold tundra is very near the timberline, meaning no trees can grow naturally north of the settlement. The village is nestled on the shore of a small, mostly frozen, fresh water lake.
