The Great Glassing

Because of the growing tension between the Nasgovian Hoomans and the Humans with the latter’s continued pollution and contribution of climate change; In 125 AC, Fission bombs were dropped onto the Human Nation, causing severe casualties and the glassing of the landscape.

Operation Terraformer

The process of the Great Glassing started when one of the grandchildren of Dr Kolb, Tresor, found their work on Fission Weapons, the Terraformer Manual, and one of the Keys for Operation Terraformer. Having developed a hatred for Humans, Tresor decided that it was necessary that the Humans had to be exterminated in order for Nasgovia to be able to flourish again.

Preparations

Tresor took advantage of the tension that has been growing within the Hooman Nation, setting up a company that dealt with defence technology with the intent of preparing for the fallout of using the manual.   Finally, to be able to proceed with Operation Terraformer, Tresor tracked down one of the other keys to Zepto the Sixth, the head of Zeptotide Energy. They blackmailed them to hand over the key and keep quiet about it, or else they would kill their child (Zepto the Seventh). Zepto handed over the key and got in contact with Davon, unaware that Tresor already had a second key.

The Day of Glass

When Tresor believed that they had developed enough preparations to help the Hooman Nation from the destruction that was going to happen. They took the keys and set off multiple bombs on the major cities of the Human Nation.   Almost all who were outside recounted that when it happened; there was a sudden silence, white light, then the thunderous sound of the bombs.

Outcome

Due to not paying attention to the number of bombs specified to be used from Project Obsidian Panic, the result of the attack resulted in almost half of Nasgovia becoming destroyed, with the areas most devastated by the weapons having become glassed.

Aftermath

While it led to the death of many Humans, it didn’t kill all of them and the survivors took to hiding underground to survive and figure out what to do next.   The event also caused discourse between the Hoomans, because of the mass loss of life and destruction of the planet. Some argued that it was overkill, and an affront to the stars, while others believed that it was a necessary evil for the recovery of Nasgovia.   Having also seen the destruction, Edgevillians that disagreed with this sort of violence (Mostly those that followed Mordecai's teachings) left the nation to live somewhere away from the madness. However, the ones that stayed either did for safety or because the event just solidified the idea that the Humans deserved it.

Clean up

Because the Glassing did not kill all the Humans, Tresor continued their work with developing technology and sending military groups to go into The Glassed Lands to track down and kill any remaining Humans.
