Greggle

The wheat based alcoholic beverage served in pint tankers that Imperials and Riktus love to drink. More popular with men than the ladies due to its bitter taste and rapid speed to intoxication. Often Imperial men love to brag about how many greggles they drank the night before, and the law of thumb is always to half the number to get the actual quantity they drank.
The expression "I got tankered" is the trendy way to say you got utterly wasted on greggles.   The opposite applies for the Riktus who can drink countless tankers before any effects start to show, making them lose count of the vast amounts they've drunk. For this reason, the Riktus have their own saying "It was ten and done." Meaning they got wasted on ten greggles when the truth was more likely twenty.

Grollocks

Another popular alcoholic drink that is even stronger than greggle is grollocks - comprising four coloured layers on top of one another. The 1st blue layer is sugared water, the second layer is green and with a minty flavour, and the third yellow layer is formed of the Imperial spirit Rumskey. The final layer is red, formed of three mixed fruits: strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.   Although unmixed grollocks looks attractive, it is during mixing when the real magic happens as the kaleidoscope of colours swish around together, causing an almost hypnotic effect. Watching a professional bartender in action as he prepares a grollocks is a joy to behold, and the delicious combination of flavours always causes a mouth sensation.   Unfortunately, when a regular Imperial attempts to make a grollocks the result is always a disaster. Either they mess up the ingredient quantity or they don't use the right consistency, so the layers mix as soon as they are added to the glass. The worst problem is stirring too long or too short, leading to a drink that is either too sugary or too watery. With so many factors involved, it is always best to have a grollocks made in a bar or, if you have the essence coin, hand-made and delivered to your door.
