Francis Brighton

This charismatic high elf has spent most of his life between books and scrolls. He was a fountain of knowledge and stories and a good conversationalist. People who knew him tended to like him greatly. People who knew of him tended to respect him greatly. And in general he had little enemies.
However, his role in the Council of Wise Men earned him the attention of men of ill repute, and in the year 1254 of the New World Calendar he was murdered by the Eastern Mystery.
